Ja må hon leva.... idag fyller mamma nittio (90!)

Happy Birthday mother - 90 years today ❤❤❤ We'll celebrate the event with a dinner at 95th floor, Hancock Building :)

So, in the evening, off we went to the 95th floor and had a wonderful view and a very good dinner!

But first a little preparation at home :)

..then Jim who drove us with his Uber car, and who is a gospel singer, and who had been in Stockholm to sing gospel, sang for mother in the car!! Super-cool!

..
..and a quick hallo to the doggy

... then the elevator up, up, up...

..to the 95th floor where a Mochito was waiting...

..and after dinner, a birthday cake! They thought we were from Switzerland... (but never mind, happens all the time :)

Fantastic view! What a Birthday!

First came days in the sun...

And then we did Chicago...
"I want to live here" :)
So much history, so much culture, so many things to do, so friendly people, the mix of old and new buildnings (in spite of the Great Fire in 1871 that destroyed almost the whole city (6x1km city area burned down... 300 people died, 17 500 buildnings were destroyed and of the 300 000 inhabitants 100 000 become homeless...). But the Chicagoans had the fighting spitit and the city, a new city, rose from the ashes!

I´m not very fond of buildings of steel and glass -  but in Chicago - it´s totally fantastic!
