Aaahh, ett riktigt hotell i Nystad med rena lakan, duch, TV - the works!

Rena och utsövda fortsätter vi norrut längst västkusten och gör ett pit stop i Rauma old town, a historic city with wooden houses from the old time, de äldsta från 1500-talet. 800 invånare än idag! I Björneborg beslutar vi oss för att köpa ett större tält, för tre personer :) Sagt och gjort och på  kvällen måste vi ju testa.... 

Vi kör in på ännu en camping (vi som skulle tälta i vildmarken) för att se hur detta tält skulle fungera. Campingen låg vackert vid havet och våra finska bröder och systrar njöt av bastu och finsk allsång på klipporna. Läckert! Vi grillar på medhavd grill och pyser i naturen. 

När solen ännu stod högt på himlen och temperaturen var 25 grader, vid 23-tiden, kröp vi in i vårt nyinköpta stora tält och spelade Skitgubbe :) Vi kunde sitta upp och vi hade gott om plats. Wow! Denna natt lärde vi oss att även en liten lutning på marken var en utmaning med våra friktionsfria sovsäckar på en glatt madrass. På morgonen låg vi längst ner i tältet, i en snygg hög, ganska mörbultade. Nästa natt får det bli stuga eller hotell igen :) och det blev det.  Norr om Vasa hittade vi ett ungt par som just öppnat sin B&B där vi kunde laga vår lax på grillen och sova i härlig säng med rena lakan👍

Rauma old city, a world heritage site

 Nystad

Aaahh, a real hotel in Nystad with clean sheets, duch, tv - the works! Clean and exquisite, we continued north along the west coast and make a pit stop in Rauma old town, a historic city with old wooden houses, the oldest from the 16th century. 800 inhabitants live there today! In Björneborg we decide to buy a bigger tent, for three people :) and in the evening we have to test it. We drove into another campsite to see how this tent would work. 

The campsite was beautifully situated by the sea and our Finnish brothers and sisters enjoyed the sauna and Finnish singing on the rocks. Sweet!  When the sun was still high in the sky and the temperature was 25 degrees, at 11 pm, we broke into our newly bought big tent and played AssHole :) We could actually sit up in the tent and we had plenty of space. Wow! This night we learned that even a slight slope on the ground was a challenge with our friction-free sleeping bags on a smooth mattress. In the morning we were at the bottom of the tent...... Next night, it will be a cottage or hotel again :) To the north of Vaasa we found a young couple who just opened their B & B where we could cook our salmon on the grill and sleep in a lovely bed with clean sheets
