The coast guard requires all boaters to have the ships name clearly visible on the transom. Since our dingy successfully covers the name and home port on Ambika Explorer (home port Wilmington, DE for Delaware), our Captain and his first mate decided to do something about it.

 

Said and done, Lars bought spray color, then they struggled to get the dingy up on the pier and the master piece began to take form... I went down to the saloon, in hiding. I guessed it would be grouse. But, I tell you was even worse! Unimaginable!

I did my best to cover up the mess with a brush, writing readable letters....while cursing wildly behind clenched teeth... but it was still awful 😱!

 

When the color was dry, the geniuses mounted the dingy back on it's place (the only way possible...) and went to admire the result ...............

 

i started to cry!
