Bye y'all - For Now
We are leaving a sunny and warm Alabama (though it's actually really cool sometimes we've experienced), for a cold (and rainy?) Sweden. It has been a great time and we have learned a lot and we hope to compile when the entire trip is complete. Approximately 6000 nm we have sailed up to this point, mainly on rivers and The Intra Coastal Waterway, used 11,000 liters of diesel and an infinite number of Snickers Almond. We have visited 25 states in the United States and Ontario in Canada. And imagine, we've only moved in a quarter, on the eastern edge, of the United States....
But we still have the Gulf of Mexico and the whole west coast of Florida to "do" before the story is over. We are returning in January, after Christmas and New Year, and when we arrive to Key Largo (in the Keys) the journey on Ambika Explorer's has come to an end and Ambika will stay there with er new owners.
Until soon, dear pelicans, dolphins, gulls, terns, Loopers and good friends we´ve met on the trip!
Thank you for taking the time to read about our adventures! See you next year!
