Världens bästa ostron! De finns här i Apalachicola. Det vittnar alla om och det kan vi bekräfta. Vi säger bara wow så gott, med lite citron, tabasco och pepparrot.

Vi startar tidigt på morgonarna, ibland måste vi ta bort is från flybridge innan vi åker.... men a man (women) gotta to do what a man (women) gotta do :) The show must go on o.s.v.

Vi har nu hunnit till näst sista stoppet före vår "crossing". Vi måste lämna de skyddade inre vattenvägarna för ta oss över öppet hav till Tarpon Springs. Det kan man göra via ett större hopp (ca ett dygn) eller via tre till fyra mindre hopp, Eftersom vi trodde att vi var helt ensamma i kylan hade vi bestämt oss för de kortare hoppen pga kylan, fiskenät och okända vatten. 

När vi angör Apalachicola träffar vi massor av Loopers som tillsammans ska göra det större hoppet. Klart att vi hakar på :) Med lite tur har vi ett väderfönster öppet på fredag!

The coolest of all the cool guys.... It’s just above freezing temperature and they are out there, fishing!

The world's best oysters! They are here in Apalachicola. We can confirm that, its a wow, with some lemon, tabasco and horseradish. 

We start early in the mornings, sometimes we have to remove ice from the flybridge before we leave .... but a man (women) must do what a man (women) has to do :) 

We have now reached the second last stop before our "crossing". We soon have to leave the protected intra coastal waterways to make it across the open sea to Tarpon Springs.  Here in Apalachicola we meet a lot of Loopers. Together with them we’ll make the 90 mile jump and with a bit of luck, we have a weather window open on Friday!

Everyone wants to be a pilot! As soon as they hear that Lars is a pilot they want to tell him that they also fly :) and how they did a roll (or what ever it’s called).
